Desireé Deneé Shaw has been named as valedictorian of Hillcrest High School's class of 2008. She is the daughter of Yota and Leonard Shaw of Strawberry.
Salutatorian is Lori Lea Massey, daughter of James and Terrie Massey of Strawberry.
Honor graduates for 2008 include: Mandy Jo Goings, daughter of Ronnie and Connie Goings of Evening Shade; Terra LeighAnn Polston, daughter of Twila Massey of Strawberry and Tom Polston of Clifty; Tyler Scott Wright, son of Kim and Donald Sexton of Strawberry and Scott and Leah Wright of Strawberry.
Also: Patrick Stephen Corder, son of Stephen and Patricia Corder of Smithville; Beau Cotter Simpson, son of Rose Penn of Lynn and James Simpson of Horn Lake, Miss.; Kalie Blair Durham, daughter of Sloan and Dina Durham of Smithville; Jillian Paige Mayland, daughter of Stanley and Barbie Mayland of Strawberry; and Jared A. Sharp, son of Shirly and Richard Alls and Tony and Melissa Sharp.
Hillcrest's graduation ceremony will be on May 16 at 7 p.m. at the multipurpose building on the Lynn campus.
