A public hearing scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. regarding proposed state-issued bonds for the Birdsong Peanut Company was a topic of discussion at Monday night's Quorum Court meeting.

Two separate accidents over the past week resulted in the death of Tyler Crews, 20, of Cave City, formerly of Saffell, and Thomas N. Goff Sr., 74, of Eaton.

The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will hold a mass flu clinic on Oct. 26 at the Lawrence County Health Unit, located at 1050 West Free Street in Walnut Ridge.
