Sloan-Hendrix splits with RC

Sloan-Hendrix hosted Ridgefield Christian in high school basketball action on Nov. 5 at Imboden.

In senior girls' action, Sloan-Hendrix held Ridgefield to 15 points in the first half en route to a 51-27 victory.

The Ridgefield senior boys used a big third quarter to defeat the Greyhounds 66-58.

The game was close throughout the first half, with Ridgefield leading 12-9 at the end of the first quarter and 30-24 at halftime. The Warriors outscored Sloan-Hendrix 17-7 in the third quarter to stretch their advantage to 16 points, 47-31 heading into the final period.

The Greyhounds fought hard in the fourth quarter, outscoring Ridgefield 27-19, but couldn't overcome the visitors.
