Hoxie adopts 2013 budget

The Hoxie City Council adopted the 2013 budget, totaling $2,062,608, at a special meeting on Thursday.

The budget includes a 25-cent per hour raise for all full-time employees.

The budget break down per department is as follows:

• General fund - $595,906.

• Police - $223,317.

• Fire - $64,110.

• Sanitation - $184,196.

• Radio Operators - $77,056.

• Mosquito Control - $63,985.

• Service Center - $26,100.

• Street - $189,500.

• Water - $384,238.

• Sewer - $254,200.

City Clerk Katie Smith said the budget was adopted as presented by the Budget Committee.
