Shayla Dickson passed to Madicyn Huddleston for a breakaway layup in the closing seconds to give the Sloan-Hendrix Lady Greyhounds a 54-52 victory over Hoxie's Lady Mustangs in the senior girls championship game of the 2013 Lawrence County Basketball Tournament Friday night at Hoxie Mustang Gymnasium.

Sloan-Hendrix held a 12-11 lead at the end of the first quarter before the Lady Mustangs surged to a 27-19 advantage at the intermission. The teams went to the fourth quarter deadlocked 34-34.

Huddleston and Britney Wolfe each finished with 21 points for Sloan-Hendrix. Katie Castleberry had six points. Dickson, Demi Stephens, Cheyenne Vance and Kara DeShazo each had one point.

Brandy Alls led Hoxie with 15 points. Krista Coffell and Courtney Sears had 10 points apiece. Amanda Moskop and Krista Vankirk had four points each. Courtney Rice added three points. Sarah Manis and Grace Hall each scored two points, and Kristen Carter had one point.
