Approximately 125 people attended the Ghosts of Hoxie's Christmas Past Walking Tour on Sunday afternoon. Moderate temperatures were a definite advantage to the success of the outdoor event.

Sunday's "Ghost" tour featured six historic sites, where individuals portrayed persons connected to each building's past. The individuals shared historical facts and personal stories as small groups gathered at 15-minute intervals.

"We were more than pleased with the attendance," said Frances Green of the Dickens Christmas Celebration Committee. "We really had a good time doing it."

"We were just trying to add something to Dickens in the Park," she added.

The 10th annual Dickens in the Park/Winter Wonderland is set for Thursday night, before and after the 6 p.m. Hoxie Christmas Parade.
