Hoxie seeks feedback
on farmer's market

The city of Hoxie has requested feedback from its residents and those in surrounding areas on a possible farmer's market to be located at 800 Southwest Texas during the summer.

Mayor Lanny Tinker said there is already some interest from local vendors, including a food truck that has already made arrangements to sell there. Tinker said the lot has ample space and is located near a couple of Hoxie's flea markets.

The city is requesting feedback from both potential customers and vendors of the farmer's market. A post made on the "City Of Hoxie" Facebook page Thursday has received overwhelming support with more than 50 responses.

To leave feedback, residents may visit the city's Facebook page, email ltinker@hometownbhs.com or call 886-2742.
